Big East Basketball

Just when you think a team is going to die in this conference, they get a big win.

Its going to down to the wire

Yup and when you think a team gets separation(Butler) they lose every game.

The middle of this league is anarchy

This is the type of Kam that has us beating anyone

Home court advantage is stronger than any season I can remember.

The best win this year is either @AZ or @Tenn. Teams have fared like shit on the road this year

I really think Kam in a groove is the biggest key to winning the games that matter in mid/late March(and potentially April).

Kolek and Oso has such well rounded games they don’t necessarily have to score a lot or even efficiently for us to win and them to impact winning.

Kam is one of the best pure scorers in the game but for the most part it’s also his lone impact. So we need him doing it.

It's funny how the Top 3 teams are structured similarly, they have three guys they use on the perimiter and try and spread out the scoring with one high % scorer.

But for Villanova, it's basically like a pickup game. Any guy on the floor has license to shoot the ball anwyhere on the floor.

Yeah, Shakas offense obviously allows for everyone to have a green light(sans Oso on jumpers) but everyone except for Kam and sometimes Jop is within the flow of the offense.

Stevie and Sean’s(when healthy) green lights never left even when both were shooting a putrid 15%. But it’s always wide open off great passing.

The role guys(chase, Stevie, Benny) making shots in March will help. But Kam is the key. Cause he can get a shot anytime he wants if he’s feeling it.

Absolute ass fucking. Couldnt happen to a more dirt bag team too. Oduru playing like a goon all game.

Mitchell should have just locked up D player of the year. Him and Chase made Carter their bitch. Hopefully TK is ok with the adominal issue that they are calling it.

We had guys sitting for foul trouble, general rest and injury(TK) all game. Not sure Oduru or Carter sat once. Its still 25 pts with 3:45 left.

English letting Carter hunt garbage time lol

It’ll be actually disgusting if Kalkbrenner wins d player of the year again.

Guy has had Oduru and Dixon both go for 32 on him

Textbook Creighton ... massive defensive lapses

Kinda bad for Creighton that we hung with them for a half without Kolek and Oso.

Don’t have the horses and the 2nd half shows it. But very promising for next year.

Biggest issue is I hear Kolek will be lucky to play in tournament

Damn, that bad?

That would be a shame.

Yeah it’s obliques are obviously not good to begin with.

And everyone close to the team is saying it’s fucking good.

He’s a tough bastard and Shaka has definitely exhibited the MO of leaving it up to the player so he may play through the pain as early as next week.

But even then, we need a 100% TK. Not a sprained thumb vs Michigan state

An option might be to rest him until the tournament.

They can't win the BE reg season now and the tourney is meh, and they won last year anyway.

That's be almost three weeks of rest.

If there's any way he can go, I can't imagine he'd sit.

Unless he and Ighodaro are thiunking of using their 5th year

Oh 100% on the BE tourney meaning nothing. It’s fun. That’s about it.

It’s all about March 21 and on so that’s when we need him. Even if sitting him fucks our seed.

As for year 5. Oso has already said he’s gone before this year even started. TK I think actually wants to stay, but being projected close to round 1. He’s gotta go. So this is the hurrah.

Very encouraging update for TK today from Shaka.

I don’t see Shaka as the blow smoke guy. TBH I don’t even play him for the BET unless there’s no chance of reaggravating but good to hear that thursday is on the table

I would still throw the kitchen sink at UConn, try and win that game. It is a home game. They still want to keep that 2 seed.

In a way, it's good because I think they're too reliant on Kolek and they have some games w/o him. Of course, if he's not back at at least 80%, its terrible
