He's a natural
He's got some talent, but he's worked hard for 5 years, so I'd hope he'd pick something up.
On a more serious note, board breaking was Justus' biggest issue in TKD. He was literally afraid of the board, and couldn't break it on the first try to save his life. Up until his black belt. Now, that tornado kick he did for the last two boards is his specialty - he is featured in their demo team with that kick. He's come a long way - and is about 1/4 of the way to his 3rd dan.
That was nearly exactly what my mom's response to the video was
