jesus he's killing it on twitter.. he got over 20k more followers after his first tweet.. and he doesn't follow anyone

lol even if he was as half as good as his hype..y'all would build statues of him
half as good? so if he has a rating of 1.0 and 2 star guys are coming in around .75 im doubtful on this

@ELTEXAN

Arch is bringing some players with him.. He moved on from Owens (Louisville) and is getting Cedric Baxter (RB), Jontay Cook (#1 WR out of TX)

He's bigger than what people think his play is.. all the jokes about Simms coming to UT, but he was the one that got recruiting really hot which paved a road to that 2005 championship team.

I really hope he can pull a Simms and gets Hicks or Toviano to Austin

I’ll state this explicitly even though it can be gleaned easily from my posts: I don’t give a rat’s transgendered fuck about Arch coming to Texas. We will already have a better QB. We already have another highly regarded recruit to compete or better Arch.
Just like I didn’t give a Blink182’s stinky vagina fuck when we recruited Simms.

I just hope he wasn’t promised shit that’s going to end up hurting the team.
I agree Ewers will be waaaay better than this kid. I expect Arch to be a solid QB but he won’t be the savior the media is hyping him to be.

I haven’t seen any Ewers film but his decision making off the field bothers me a great deal.

Does he kick puppies and spit on war veterans like Chris Simms does? ???

you mean taking advantage of making money as a 18 year old?
Yeah leaving school early just for a paycheck is a red flag for me.
Taking said money and transferring is another.
Having a mullet with a Flock of Seagulls dye job is a massive red flag.

You’ll be lucky if this kid doesn’t transfer or gets arrested in the next two years.

Congrats Texas Fans. A little surprised but not that surprised. (Mostly surprised he committed this early). I think you could enter the SEC pretty hot.

This is a game changing pickup for Texas.

Wishful thinking. People said the same about Eli and Peyton but both had great careers.

Whether he is good or not really doesn't matter. What UT needed was a big win like this. It (1) puts you in the news big time, (2) might have some coattails for some other players, and (3) he may just live up to his hype.

As for 1, that will come crashing down if you lose 3 or 4 games this year. If you win the B12 the mo will be big.

As for 2, it will only really matter if you get some OL and WR because of it. That's what I have read. My guess is he gives you guys an OL and a WR or 2 you might not otherwise have gotten. But my experience in following recruiting is that people following others rarely happens. Manning will be the exception, but not sure it will be as big as people think. Also, UT was already in on some good players. Insiders at UGA thought we would land Jaylon Hale if we got Arch. He's from Texas, so thinking that's a guy you lock down.

As for 3, if he and Ewers live up to the hype, you guys are solid at QB for the next 4 or 5 years. Ewers for 2022 and 2023, Manning 2025 and 2025/26.

Wish we would have gotten him, but glad he's not in the SEC for the next 2 seasons.
