You've been around long enough to know to keep stuff like that in the discussion thread.

i'd be down with the old timer joining, if his posts were just limited to the Top 25 discussion + voting threads

Absolutely. Miami is gonna have to prove it against a real opponent before I really believe they're real.
who has Carolina proven their worth against, though? they struggled with an average at best BC team

I had UNC ahead of Miami before the season. Haven't been impressed with Miami at all. Beating up on Florida State doesn't impress me. UAB gave Miami all they wanted for 3 quarters.

well UAB is the 2nd best team in the state of Alabama

I ain't putting anyone that hasn't played a game in this list...just off of general principal. Damn sure makes it hard though!

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Florida
4. Georgia
5. Miami
6. North Carolina
7. Notre Dame
8. Cincinnati
9. Coastal Carolina
10. Va Tech
11. Oklahoma State
12. Texas A&M
13. Auburn
14. Ole Miss
15. Army
16. Louisiana
17. SMU
18. Tulsa
19. UCF
20. BYU
21. AIr Force
22. K-State
23. Iowa State
24. Boston College
25. NC State

Comeon, no love for Tennessee but love for 1-1 Ole Miss and Kansas State.

This is hard because the American teams fell flat on their face and the Big12 doesn't deserve to have anyone ranked except Oklahoma State.

Btw, I threw Arkansas in their. They are playing with mojo. They gave UGA fits and just stuffed the Air Raid. They have done better than most of the other teams that you guys have ranked. I also don't understand the hate for 2-0 Tennessee, I think just like with Arkansas, the posters are focusing too much on the past. Someone had teams like Kansas State and Ole Miss (who barely survived at UK) ahead of Tennessee.

Still we will see next week. I am surprised UCF fell flat on their face. Likely biggest surprise of the weekend.

One thing that's gotten no press, but that you should consider in ranking Wisconsin: Jack Coan apparently broke his foot in practice on Friday, and is likely to miss most of the season. That leaves Wisconsin a precarious spot, with a Freshman starting QB and no real depth behind him. I won't be filling out a poll til the B1G starts up, but if I did, it would probably cause me to move Wisconsin from around #10 to around #15.

I completely forgot about Wisconsin, but I'm too lazy to fix it. I'll add em next week

Well we may lose this upcoming Saturday and drop out.
Who knows this year? You guys might surprise them. Here is the question.

Is Georgia that good or is Auburn down?

How'd Georgia get two home conference games in a row?

That is understandable. They don't play for weeks and it is hard to gauge that league at the moment. We know Ohio State will be good, Michigan will be Michigan, and Penn State is likely a top 10 team. The B1G West is a mystery at the moment. That part of the conference is usually not very good.

Yeah, we got two home conference games in a row, then we go to Tuscaloosa to start a stretch of 4 straight games not in Athens. In fact, there's only 2 home games the rest of the season after Tennessee leaves town.

That's just weird. The conference scheduler started with a clean slate, i.e. no OOC games. You'd think they could do better than that.
