Any of you camping freaks have suggestions on a tent that can fit my big ass feet? not trying to pay a whole lot but something I can sleep in well.

4 of us total.
I own a few tents and me personally would recommend two 3-man tents for 4 people and put two people in each. To me for 4 people doing just weekend camping you are going to need a 6 man tent to have room for cots/bags and some gear. I always camp in january and it is impossible to keep a 6+ man tent warm with a heater and it's just miserable with 4 people in there.

So, I'm guessing weight doesn't matter (you aren't backpacking)?

i camped last oct down near angleton. its was wet and cold and miserable. I had like a 8 person tent with a dog section. i came home and threw that thing away cause it was a pain in the ass to put up with 8 different rods

I bought one years ago, college years, that was fancy enough to have three "rooms". What a colossal PITA. It was before they had the fiber tension rods so it was the 3/4" aluminum tubing and I hated that thing. Then the rooms just were zippered top to bottom but not across the bottom and everyone entered through one door. In theory it was awesome but in practice it was just a gimmick. Tossed that and got a 4 man smaller tent that we used for two people. Since it was always snowing when we were out we put all the liquids in the tent with a heater to keep it from freezing. Worked perfect. So now I just advocate more smaller tents instead of one large one.

Looks like REI has some decent ones for about $200... Not sure how much you're looking to spend

Tents are something if you will use them a lot, get a good one for SURE. If this is a "let see if we like doing this" outing that might never be used again, go something like this

$50 and you could probably re-sell it for $25 if you use it once and hate it. :)

I've got 3... Used one of them twice this year, one of them once ever, and the other... Zero

Seriously....stay at a five star hotel and take everyone out for a wilderness adventure ride at a waterpark. All four of you will thank me.

Check Craigslist or SlickDeals.

We're in our 60's and still tent camp. I would recommend a big one, rated 3 people, and more importantly get a couple of $50 cots at Walmart. They are way more comfortable than an air mattress, the popups we had, and offers a seat to sit on while putting on shoes and to store gear.

Costco has some good tents for decent prices.

4 people.....get a 6-man. You want to be able to stand up in it. That is all.
