OFFICIALLY GAME WEEK! OREGON takes down georgia

You're a good man.

If Box Nix starts for Oregon and loses to UGA, he would be the only QB to ever lose to UGA 4 times in their college career. Reggie Ball did it for Georgia Tech. Guarantano at Tennessee played in the majority of 4 games against UGA, but wasn’t the starter in 2019

Your arrogance reminds me so much of Ohio State's last year. I was told Ohio State had all the same advantages and Oregon had all the same disadvantages and yet we saw how that game played out.

You may say Nix's 3 previous losses to Georga is a sign of continuation of what may happen, but I see those 3 losses as experience and something he can learn from and get redemption one final time. I sure hope your Bulldog players come into this game with the same arrogance as the Georga fans.
My arrogance? Read your fucking OP ... now there is some arrogance. I am simply responding in kind, with a record to back it up. We beat tOSU last year is not an explanation for why you will beat us this year.

Ducks lose and od disappears. Dawgs lose and potato does his usual my team shouldn't have lost schtick. Dawggy is the wildcard for future entertainment here.
We lose and I'll own up to it. You can't imagine what winning a natty has done for my nerves and enjoyment of life!

OD just being OD. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

What is the over/under on how long OD is in ghost mode after the ducks are plucked?

I will go on record early as saying that nobody was beating Georgia that day.

It would be an accurate statement this time though

Is this Georgia team anywhere close to last year ???
There is a reason the Vegas and the talking heads have us 3rd, in the top group. This is what OD doesn't understand because his knowledge of UGA is so superficial - UGA lost a lot last year so they will suck. We are more like Bama that reloads right now, not LSU that fell apart.

You lose 7 players in the first two rounds on D, it's hard to say there won't be a step back. But we have a lot going for us:

- It's not like we haven't had great Ds for the past 5 years, we were so good last year that even a step back means we will be really good, and Smart was the DC at Bama that had historical Ds, and we replaced Lanning with Muschamp. So a step back means not one of the best D's in the country but still a top 5 D that will limit teams to less than 20 points a game.

- Believe it or not, the best player on last year's D might be Jalen Carter who is back. He's mocked top 5 in most draft mocks this year. So we have a stud DT that anchors the D line.

- We are known as a team that rotates more than anyone else. We regularly rotated 22 D players last year. Our guys that went to the NFL played 30% - 40% of the snaps. That means our guys have real game experience. Being a starter at UGA doesn't really matter ... everyone plays if you are good.

- If you look at the guys who will be starting this year, they are all top 100 5*, high 4*. They have the talent and will now get even more experience.

- Our offense will be better and it was a top 9 offense last year. We have the best TE room in the country, solid WRs, a great top 5 OL, and really good RBs. Bennett was the 3rd best QB last year, and will have the advantage of an entire season being QB1.

In other words, we are far more likely to be like reloading teams, not a teams like 2020 LSU that fell off the cliff because of a dumbass coach.

Georgia is the only team that I have going 12-0. I don't think they win it all but I don't see anyone beating Georgia on their regular season schedule.

yes but the same talking heads and Vegas did the same thing with Oregon and ohio State last year. while I may not share in OD's delusions Im not ready to just lay down either.
