EPL 2022/2023

I would think so. What a mess. Let's look at it:

1) Pulisic wants out, but not going anywhere. Probably be a bench warmer most games up to World Cup. Not so Captain America anymore.
2) Alonso wants out. Looks like maybe to Barcelona but money tight.
3) Aubamayang deal done and dusted...almost. Wants 2 year deal. I give it a month before him and Tuchel have a second row.
4) Ziyech wants out. Wants to be moved to Ajax.
5) Good news: Farfana having his medical in New York right now. Done and dusted also.
6) Hilarious rumor today: Neymar coming. lol!!!!!
7) Mendy out of form now. This started end of last year and has continued.
8) Azpilicueta wanted out...but looks like he is staying. Is he happy?

So...Pochettino might have his team?

I guess the only good news for them is that they are still probably going to spend a ton of money on transfers before the window closes.
What a deliciously putrid start for the Blues

Kante has yet to play due to injury, that should help them. Might want to move Kai Havertz out at some point. Not nearly getting what they paid for. Seems every offensive player is failing under Tuchel. Mason Mount was garbage today too.

P.S. Timo Werner had a hat trick today....ok it was against a 3rd division team but still funny.

Also I heard today if Farfana moves to Chelsea at last second, then Brendan Rogers is going to say fuck it. Leicester can't fire him because they owe him too much money. The hope is he latches on to another club. I heard Villa or Everton, but that is not much better than Leiceister. But Chelsea could be an option. Rogers has a way to collapse at the end of season, but he did win an FA Cup.

Stinking up the first three games, squeaking one out against another bottom table team...now this is the West Ham I know.

Tuchel and Boehlyshit screwing the USA team with Pulisic. Not loaning him, and leaving him on the bench. Worse case scenario.

Great matchup though coming up: Spurs vs West Ham.

Damn this World Cup year...a lot wiggling around the job to watch these midweek games through the rest of this year.

Spurs vs West and Bayern vs Viktoria Koln at same time today. Will need laptop and TV to see both.

Each got a point today. I guess no one happy, but maybe West Ham a little more happy I would say.

Geez Haaland. Another hat trick. That guy is not wasteful with his shots. A true and elite striker.

I have no faith in Thiago to stay healthy once he gets healthy plus he is getting older. The captain is 32. There actually is some decent young talent IMO at midfield. Christ 2 of them aren’t even 20 yet. Add in Jones who I think is 22 or 23 and Its not a bad setup. Depth is needed though. Bellingham is absolutely a young but very talented player, I just hope they don’t over spend and then Henry makes Cuts in other areas.
Well Liverpool great escape today at the death. Nunez suspension over. Go 2-1. Beating Newcastle not a gimme anymore.

He's an elite striker for sure, but it helps that A) his team is stacked and B) Every team they've played so far is in or near the bottom third of the table.

I still want to see how he does in the long haul over the whole season.

And his inevitible injury? Sirius pundits are saying he should have been red carded for the high boot in Crystal Palace game. The players head dipped but still. I remember Mane getting a red for a high boot too for taking half of Ederson's head off a few years ago. It is not the damage though, it should be the dangerous intent.

Here come the late signings:

Liverpool: Arthur. I remember at one he was an upcoming player at Brazil and Barca and now Juventus. Good signing. Need depth at Midfield.
Chelsea: Aubameyang in. Broke his jaw last week when a gang invaded his house though. This guy finds trouble even when not his fault. Really nothing to lose for Chelsea. Need a striker. Havertz just not one.

With Dest (to AC Milan today) and Pepi transferring out for more playing time, that leaves Christian Pulisic as only key USA player not going to get key playing time up to World Cup. Can Chelsea please fire Tuchel? Not just for the good of Chelsea...but the USA!

West Ham probably more pleased by the result, though they nearly took all 3 points right at the very end.

One thing they did, which was very smart, was force Spurs to try and progress everything down their right side where Sanchez and Royal are. Those 2 and Bissouma would just pass back and forth until Sanchez got the ball under pressure and booted it down field, normally turning it over.

West Ham definitely benefitted from Spurs being without Bentancur and Romero, but it was still smart planning. Spurs will need to find answers for stuff like this as the year goes on.

Give it time, Tuchel gonna Tuchel and lose the locker room as usual.

Chelsea now trying to land last second deals for Depay and Edson Alvarez from Ajax lol.

Edit: Also Denis Zakaria.

Transfer time up:

Zakaria and Aubameyang in at Chelsea. Alonso out.

Ronaldo another big loser. Maybe Ronaldo goes in Winter time. Napoli was biting but it never happened.
