Im a little pissed off. I ordered a shotgun lock, wall mount style, to mount behind my bedroom door. This was over a week ago. So I get their confirmation email, and then nothing. Tracking shows the order is still processing. So I let it go for a while.
Then start poking around yesterday, send an email through their site, and one through my email. Nothing. So this afternoon I start calling various numbers on their site. Two of the numbers flat out say, "Your call has been rejected" and just hang up. One number goes to the owners phone, and guess what? No room for voicemails to be left.
So I finally send the last email that says," Cancel this order". I get a fucking email back in less than 5 minutes. "Sorry about the delay, but due to covid, we are only in the shop 2 days a week." I said that obviously today was one of those days, and since when do you need to be in the shop to reply to emails?
"we can get this shipped out soon"
Canceled the order, and called the bank to dispute any charges. like, just fuck off already. I have been looking for one of these for a while, and this one seemed to be the best for what I needed. SO then I call one of the "dealers" that was listed on their site. The dude there says, "oh yeah, when used to sell their stuff, but we could never get ahold of them when there was problem, so we stopped."
How the fuck do these assholes stay in business? Not that anything was over the top egregious, but wtf?
Well, it could be worse, all that could have happened, and you could still be stuck with @Robin as your SN.
