GAME Tennessee @ Georgia 2:30 CST CBS

3 missed tackles on that play.

Tennessee's tackling was awful on that play

Well that targeting play made up for the Georgia fumble. Boneheaded mistakes by both teams.

Pretty good recovery after about as bad of a start as possible.

But that targeting on TN was BS. I don't care about the letter of the law, Stetson Bennett is one of the two shortest P5 starting QBs and he didn't even fall down

This was my fear. I am not sure our offense is good enough to beat Georgia. JG is actually doing alright. Penalties are killing us.

If I go for it on 4th and 1 from the 35, I damn sure go for it on 4th and 11 from the 50.

If I were a Tennessee fan, I'd be pissed about the softest targeting call of all time. Roughing the passer? Definitely. Targeting? If you're a pussy, maybe

It was but the issue is that it fit the rule. The rule is dumb. I think they should allow players 2 penalties before ejecting.

I would blame our struggles on the refs for all the penalties being called on us, but unfortunately, the calls are correct for the most part :(.

Stetson is good on the intermediate throws, just doesn't have enough ass behind him for the deep ball.

He makes good decisions. That is better than many of these deep throwing QBs 4 star QBs that make poor decisions and miss throws.

Ok that interference call was crap.

Fromm was clearly better on deep passes, no question, but Bennett is a lot better at extending plays with his feet.

I miss the days when QBs did not out run sacks. The game isn't as fun. I miss CFB in the 1990s and early 2000s.

It seems to happen all of the time with Tennessee and it is so Fucking Frustrating.

No it wasn't, defender impeded Jackson from jumping. That was a catchable ball with Jackson's ups.

I played defense like that all of the time in basketball. All he did was bump into him.
No hands on him, no push off, etc. Dumb call.

I would also argue that pass was uncatchable as well.
