Does the SEC have a long history of firing coaches a lot faster than the Big XII? Sure feels like it. The pressure to win is apparently the driving force if that is true. Makes a person wonder if Muleshoe saw the handwriting on the wall. And Brent Venables has also got to be aware of the tougher coaching standards if SEC schools are so quick to pull the trigger on coaches who are under performing. Joe Castiglione has never been that kind of AD at Oklahoma. We're going to be one of the new kids in the neighborhood and I've got a feeling there are going to be many things that are a helluva lot different when OU finally makes the move.
