ACC Basketball

2010 Syracuse and 1989 Michigan both lost exhibition games to D2/D3 teams. 2010 Syracuse won 30 games and 1989 Michigan won it all

with that said, Louisville probably just sucks and i'm 100% here for it. I also think Kenny Payne was a huge reach as a hire and he will suck ass. and then maybe i can convince the entire Louisville dance team to let me eat their ass

Louisville only beat Chaminade by 7 last night. Chaminade lead a lot of the game too. Gonna be a long year for those losers.

Louisville loses to Bellarmine to open their season. Might not make it to 5 wins this season.

Bellarmine is a weird team to watch. Once they got the ball past half court they maybe dribbled a total of 10 times all game.

5 players returned from last year's team. Which is a lot more than I thought. Also added Brandon Huntley-Hatfield from Tennessee

Kenny Payne was a hire to appease the alums, tbh. Doubt he can coach.

Deacs looked better tonight. Still missing Ituka

Louisville loses to Wright State. 5 wins may have been optimistic.

league looks down again

GT beat Georgia State last night on a buzzer beat
BC struggled w/ Detroit Mercy
Pitt got ass blasted by WVU
FSU is 0-2
Clemson beat Citadel by 11 and then turned around and lost to South Carolina
ND struggled w/ Radford

going to give Miami and NCSU the benefit of the doubt with their less than impressive performances

and UNC should not be ranked #1. they giving up 86 points to CofC

Yeah, it doesn't look good in the early going. FSU and ND were the only teams with tournament aspirations from that group, so it's not all doom and gloom from that perspective, but FSU has already taken on 2 bad losses. At least ND won. The MTE's and the ACC/B1G Challenge will provide some further clarity, but the bottom of the middle/bottom of the league looks pretty poor.

And yeah, UNC has struggled thus far. I think they'll take on a couple losses in non league play here pretty soon. Hopefully they still best Indiana's ass though.

i think i had another thought about UNC giving up 86 points to CofC but decided to abandon it, lmao.

and fwiw, after Wake's 2015/16 season, I put a lot of stock in how badly teams put away their creampuffs in the OOC schedule.

either way, i'm pretty confident that Duke, UNC, Virginia and Virginia Tech are going to be good. Miami, Syracuse and Wake are going to be wildcards. tbh, Clemson will be a wildcard as well, but you can always count on Big Game Brad to have a few bad losses in the OOC portion of the schedule and be very competitive during ACC play.

think the rest of the league will probably suck. ND could surprise me since their HC is still Mike Brey, but we'll see.

Boston College loses to Maine 69-64

Probably not exactly shocking since they only beat Cornell by 2 and Detroit by 4

Yeah, they were flirting with losses their 1st two games. Still not sure they're the worst team in the ACC though. Lol.

Just realized Maine was 351 in KenPom. Christ. Literally almost lost to the worst d1 team.

Florida State is 0-3

WOW

Louisville, FSU, BC and Pitt are going to be a dreadful bottom four. Apparently, BC has had some injury problems, though.

You're giving Brownell too much credit right now
