Surprised that UCF didn’t get dropped. Tulane at #19 seems a tad high imo.

And did the CFP committee just forget about Washington? Or did someone have a brainfart at #13 and WSU is supposed to be the Huskies?

The CFP site says Washington is #13.

Rankings? What are those?

Love this. Two weeks left, we are #9 (top 10) and still have to play a team ranked ahead of us this seasons. Buckle up folks, going to be an electric and wild two weeks!!

No way it's that low. It's college football in late November, anything can happen.

USC might be sweating out the UGA/LSU game.

If LSU beats UGA & TCU/USC both win out the final 4 would be B1G Champ/TCU/UGA/LSU USC is getting left out.

Reece and Bear said last night that TCU had a higher SOS than Michigan, Ohio State and Georgia. Somebody explain to me how that can be when the only ranked teams TCU has played are #12 K-State and #23 Texas.

All USC has to do is beat Oregon 59-0 in the CCG and they’ll be vault up to #4 and TCU will drop to #6.

Good point. And now that I looked, Georgia only has Tennessee. But Ohio State has #11 Penn State AND #15 Notre Dame. Those are higher than the two TCU has and yet their SOS is something like 20 spots behind TCU?

Because ESPN's FPI has Baylor #19 & Oklahoma #24 as well and Texas is comically high. I'm assuming they are going off ESPNs metrics.

ESPNs FPI usually is a joke IMO. 6-5 Baylor is 19 4-7 Iowa State is #28 TEXAS is #5  :pound:

Don’t know why they’d use that but a lot of the CFP stuff is squirrely imo. After looking the top four’s schedules, none of them have played many ranked teams. But they are undefeated so I guess that carries the day. LSU’s played the most with Tenn, Bama, FSU and Ole Miss but they lost two of ‘em.

ESPN always uses their garbage metrics when they throw those kind of rankings out. Any system that thinks Texas is the 5th best team in the country should be deleted.
