Should, but you know how these things work.
CBS has USC in the Cotton. You know, since they have the Heisman QB you can't let them slide that bad, even with a complete garbage D.

Oklahoma lived with it for 5 looooong years. Venables may or may not be The Man at OU to turn things around but Muleshoe/Grinch damn sure weren't going to win any SEC championships. Hell, they couldn't even win Big XII championships towards the end. The USC fans are going to see it for themselves when they move to the B1G too.

TCU would have 2 top 25 wins (1 against Back up QB)
Alabama would have 2 top 25 wins.(1 against BackUp QB)

Alabama SOS is 8
TCU SOS is 35

Alabama has played 5 ranked teams on the road and went 3-2.

It is a lot more of a debate than people wanna admit.
 
Really thought Texas Tech would put up a much better fight the 2nd time around against Utah.
