He really has a strong desire to lose to ND in late November. I think we have Pitt for senior day next year.
I’m in no way an expert on these players so you guys can prove me wrong. But it sure seems likes this will be just a shuffling of the deck. The cards ain’t going to improve, just land in another hand. An 8 of clubs is still an 8 of clubs, not an Ace of spades.
Now, that 8 of clubs may land in a hand that has the other three 8s, the 6,7,9,10 of clubs or others that make a magical hand. But, it is just another middling card without those.
What am I not seeing?

It's interesting, transfer portal day seems almost like the new signing day. Signing days have gotten so dull because of early signing periods that this seems like the new day where a bunch of surprising moves happen.

Gotta LOL @ Jermaine Burton. Transferred to Alabama, his production doesn’t significantly increase from last season, and his team missed the playoffs while his former team made them, and his most memorable moment this year was hitting a female Tennessee fan. Had he stayed at UGA, he would have likely been the number two WR with AD Mitchell missing most of the season and wouldn’t have been in a position to assault a female Tennessee fan since UGA whipped TN’s ass

Yeah. Some of you experts have to school me on this deal. It's almost like looking at Greek upside down and reading it back to front.
So Devin Leary is in the transfer portal. Is this because he is afraid someone is gonna beat him out of the QB job? Is he going for a better NIL deal? Does he wanna go to a better program? This is just an example.
Like why are players transferring out of UGA? For more playing time?
Help me understand this madness.

Also. just curious. Let's say WR Billy Catchthatball is entering the transfer portal to get out of Alaska State Tech. No team wants him. Does he stay at his school? Does the coach welcome him back with open arms or does he ride the pine and does the coach have this "oh nah you ain't playing, you tried to leave us" attitude?

depends how good the player is and how bad the team is without him. If you are the 3rd string kicker, there's the door. If you were the starting QB, "Saul goodman"

That's going to happen when you have kids that want to play but are behind better players. You don't have the top class without kids who were expecting it to be their turn jumping ship. Just need to hang on to the true freshman who got their growing pains this year.
