While I'm not a big fan of Stroud, as he looks like he is always about to start crying at any moment -- He is the last reason Ohio State has lost to UM the last two years. He threw for 400 yards last year vs Michigan, he threw for 350 yards this year.
He faced 6 ranked teams last year. He threw for 484 against Oregon. He threw for 305 against PSU. He threw for 361 against Purdue. He threw for 432 against MSU. He threw for 573 against Utah.
Who are these big time defenses he needed to throw against to not be overrated? Your comment would make more sense if you said -- his WR's making him look better than he is, as NO ONE has had a better WR room than Stroud the last two years. Olave -- 1st round pick. Garrett Wilson -- 1st round pick. Ngjiba-Smith -- will be a 1st round pick. Harrison Jr. -- could be the #1 pick, if the team already has a QB. Egbuka -- will be a 1st round pick. THAT is absurd to have that talent to throw to.
