And Indiana was? The game actually meant something.Dude, you were playing Purdue in the championship game. Purdue. It’s not like they were even a threat.

NCAA violations fall under a different category of outrage. That falls back under "destruction of program" territory. Do I think selling gold pants was a serious crime? no. Do I laugh that OSU lost games because of it? Yes.Just go back to 2019 and their (Michigan fans) righteous indignation about Chase Young not being punished enough for taking a loan from someone (that he paid back before the story about it even came out) to buy his girlfriend a rose bowl ticket.
Because you didn’t want to risk any suspension but they forgot, we are Michigan, we don’t suspend players for anything. And Indiana was? The game actually meant something.

Our players are honest and that prevents suspension.Because you didn’t want to risk any suspension but they forgot, we are Michigan, we don’t suspend players for anything.
But we wanted to risk suspension for the B10 title game?Because you didn’t want to risk any suspension but they forgot, we are Michigan, we don’t suspend players for anything.
HONEST?!?!! So sexually assaulting women, witness tampering, DUIs, assault and battery, weapons charges are all definitely honest stuff. Our players are honest and that prevents suspension.
Against Purdue. But we wanted to risk suspension for the B10 title game?
Those players were suspended. In fact, the University changed sexual assault rules (and spent a while in court defending them) to kick the one out of the University entirely.HONEST?!?!! 4 win Illinois < 8 win Purdue for B10 title?Against Purdue.
I guess it doesn’t matter since Harbaugh doesn’t suspend players for anything.4 win Illinois?
If Harbaugh had suspended him for Indiana, you all would have been angry anyway and wanted him suspended for Penn State because Penn State actually meant something.I guess it doesn’t matter since Harbaugh doesn’t suspend players for anything.
No one would complain if he was suspended when it happens. People are upset when Michigan coaches strong arm police into not filing charges for nearly two months. If Harbaugh had suspended him for Indiana, you all would have been angry anyway and wanted him suspended for Penn State because Penn State actually meant something.

But that didn't happen. There's no evidence of that happening. The DA very much explained this isn't an unusual timeline and my guess is if that were true, reporters looking into this would have dug that up by now.No one would complain if he was suspended when it happens. Michigan could have said something. I wish they would have gotten out in front of it rather than letting the media figure it out when the charges were announced. But you have yet to provide any evidence that special treatment was provided here.Exactly lol. The claim that there is absolutely no special treatment here is laughable.
Is it quiet for months and charges constantly pushed off from being filed if it's just joe schmo off the street? Hell no.
But it’s always an unusual timeline when it comes to Michigan athletes. If something happens the same way all the time then it’s not unusual. But that didn't happen. If there were actual unusual timelines, someone would report on them. I'm sure this isn't the first charge of it's kind in the county. I'm sure there's data on this. I'd actually argue that the only reason he was charged with a felony, absolutely knowing it would be plead down to the lesser charge, was to prevent any idea that preferential treatment was given. If we're getting preferential treatment, we're doing it wrong. Not charging the player would have been a great start, instead of waiting until days before the B10 title game. But it’s always an unusual timeline when it comes to Michigan athletes.
