I can not express to you how disappointed I am with myself for subjecting my brain to that torture.
I would be interested in reading that article if you still have the link....
I've heard that companies were hiring tech savvy folks to vet out some hires by reviewing their "online" behavior. Very interesting topic.
That’s when the team found Facebook posts (on the candidate’s public account) that made Breyer and his colleagues hesitate. The candidate was posting political content—which during a presidential campaign wasn’t unusual and wasn’t in itself an issue. But they were also arguing animatedly and aggressively with anyone who disagreed.
“We viewed this as this individual would struggle if someone on the team wanted to take a project a different direction than they had in mind,” Breyer says. “We want our team members to be able to set aside their differences and work together and we felt that these actions showed that they wouldn’t be able to perform this way consistently.”
The candidate, who Breyer says otherwise was likely to get hired, didn’t get the job.
Yeah, you’d think. Usually, it’s perverts cruising for strange or mentally ill losers agonizing about their neighbors. Occasionally, I guess the lines blur and someone decides that their reality is more important than others’ and you get crap like this.Graciousness. The internet has tards and lowlifes but dammit.. I just assume people have a life and are too busy to do things like that
What's the downside?![]()
'Internet Trolls' Are Actually Jerks in Real Life Too, According to Study (Infographic)
A new report from the University of Manitoba finds that people who troll on the Internet exhibit traits of "sadism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism" in real lifewww.thewrap.com
"You know what, I'm not enjoying this right now so I'm just going to walk away. No need to tell anyone and no need for lengthy manifestos, sorry @trojanfan12 "
What's a troll?
What's a troll?
OH BOY THEY GOT HIM GOOD!This seems so simple yet appears to be hard for some to grasp.
I've seen you give "the warning" so many times on so many different occasions in so many different and varied threads, in not only this forum, but the 3 or 4 we all were associated with for ...good lord!... how many years has it been now?!?! You have tried your best to warn others, as has I and others.
But yeah, you have been very consistent with the same warnings so long that no one can honestly say they haven't been warned.
I can only add some logic to the very concise warning they have all been served, about feeding the trolls....
The words these trolls post are harmless until the person reading them allows themselves to get offended by or otherwise react in a negative way to the sentiments contained within those written words.
They may have typed the words, but YOU read them....thus YOU are equally to blame for whatever reaction "that action" conjures up after YOU read it.
And that fits well with the warnings @Peter Gozintite is constantly giving....for FREE I might add...haha....if YOU ignore the poster whose words upset you then how can those words then upset you? They can't, unless YOU allow them to by YOU reading them to begin with.
OH BOY THEY GOT HIM GOOD!
cuz their feelers got hurt.....
fucking pathetic

Let's not get personal and keep this on a professional level. You're just jealous of his use of commas!
