Bears trade the pick

I like the Moore pickup, but don't understand why this is happening now. Play the fucking long game. Draw it out as long as possible. The value will do nothing but go up.

I would've preferred multiple trades and not to drop from the top 5.

Sounds like they are setting up to take the top Tackle.

Their front 7 is by far the weakest link of the team. It needs a complete overhaul. Was hoping to get a day one game-wrecker on D.

I didn't think there was any way possible to fuck this up, and I'm not saying they did per se, but it just feels weird and anticlimactic for this to be done in the first week of March?

Seems like they easily could've traded multiple times before getting all the way down to 9?? Maybe it's wishful thinking but still...

Is Carolina really this dumb/desperate?

Bears got 4 of the first 64 picks this year. That's pretty great.

The 2024 is very likely to be a high pick.

I can't complain too much, just feels weird on March 10th.

Now if Carter could kindly fall to 9 cuz of his legal troubles, that would be swell.

I'd hafta take Monday off due to excessive masturbation.

Trade their #1 next year to go back down and get Carter lol

The Bears did great, IMO. Carolina will do nothing in 2023 and that 1st next year should be a high pick. I really see this draft as about equal through 15 rounds or so.

Carolina is definetley gonna miss that 1st rounder next season.......I dont see them getting back a wr in freeagency to make up for Moore.....

But what woukd be funny is if Carolina decided to trade with Houston or Indy to get back some of that collateral......maybe even twice.....

Damn good trade. A #1 first rounder for a top ten first rounder and a second rounder in 2023, and a first and second rounder in 2024, and a talented receiver.

Sort of a recovery from the Mitch Trubisky debacle.
