Someone tried to hack my PayPal account. I have 2 step verification and I got a text with a passcode when I never accessed PayPal to begin with.

I've been getting an email from Instacart to continue to change my password. Sorry - haven't used instacart since that one time in 2020 and i sure didn't ask for a password reset.
Updated profile info and security settings. Changed password.
Scam. They'll send you to a fake site and you give them your new password. Next, they'll order food for a banquet in Lagos, Nigeria and charge your account.
Anything that comes to you out of the blue is a scam.

I've been kind of enjoying it.
Had the winter not been so crazy with all the storms, I'd probably be having a harder time enjoying it, but I figure the not quite as warm as I like it is preferable to "I'm about to fucking melt" triple digit heat.
I may get new furnace and all new duct work done this summer, at which point I'm going to go on and have central air installed, too.
Fuck it.

In a 2 step verification, you enter your password. Instead of giving you immediate access, they text you a 5-8 digit number (the passcode) which you then have to enter in addition to the password to get access to the account.

I've done quordle & octordle in the past, but have never tried sequence. I've also been playing waffle lately and I solve them, but i'm not quite sure what the right approach is... it's like I know what I'm doing for a split second, then it's just randomly swapping letters
If you don't have 2 step verification for all your accounts, set it up immediately, if not sooner.

I'd guess, at least if @moxie is like me, she put them in a very logical place - maybe even put them in a bag and labeled the bag, too. It's just that she won't remember the very logical place she put the properly labeled bag until she goes and gets more brackets, or places another order for them, and at almost the exact moment she's ready to install them ...
She'll remember.
