TOP 25... Overrated & Underrated

So, I took a few publications and popular websites and combined all the rankings to create this Preseason Top 25. Anybody extremely overrated/extremely underrated? Or just by a little. Who, not listed, should be? I know all the "precautions" related to preseason rankings, but just something to discuss for the upcoming season. What ya got?

1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Ohio State
4. Alabama
5. Penn State
6. Southern Cal
7. LSU
8. Florida State
9. Clemson
10. Washington
11. Notre Dame
12. Texas
13. Tennessee
14. Oregon
15. Utah
16. Wisconsin
17. Oregon State
18. Kansas State
19. Oklahoma
20. TCU
21. UCLA
22. Texas A&M
23. Ole Miss
24. North Carolina
25. South Carolina
 
#16 Wisconsin (Overrated)

Yeah the schedule looks easy, but it was easy last year too and they finished 7-6.

They have a new HC with new systems. They lost in Madison last year to Washington St and they play in Pullman this year.

#21 UCLA (Underrated)

Chip's improved them every year (except covid). They won 9 last year with a similar schedule, but no Oregon this season.

And what is goofy is one of the media outlets didn't even have UCLA ranked in top 25. Another one did not have TCU ranked.

why would they have TCU ranked for? They lost their OL and big time WR.. also lost their key Defensive players outside a CB

Underrated is Texas.. cause they are back

overrated is Jawja.. but they will cake walk into the SEC CCG game cause their schedule is easy.. Those days are over next year
 
Overrated. Both #5 Penn St & #6 USC, probably.

Underrated. #18 KSU, I guess? I really have no clue. So, when in doubt, go with purple.

Michigan too high … make us unrated
Alabama too low
Clemson too low

Preseason Polls are about as meaningful as Joe Biden’s Intelligence.

If you flipped OSU and PSU, I honestly wouldn't argue. I think they take a step forward at QB, they have a solid OL, and elite RB tandem, and the defense is still gonna be stout. They're my biggest concern for a loss this year tbh.
 
I haven't seen many publications that have A&M in the top 25, so from that standpoint I say A&M is overrated here. Based on how I think our season will go, I think we are underrated.

Ohio State is losing their QB and we know very little about their replacement. Hard to call them a top 4 team until seen. I'd say somewhere 5-10 until we see their QB; who does have loaded talent around him. I'd say Michigan is probably too high at 2, I'd still put at minimum UGA and Alabama above until proven otherwise.
 
Iowa is underrated. Look at their schedule. Even if the offense sucks like they did last season, they should have 9-10 wins in regular season.
