I’ll have to check it out- I got the Bose earbuds and I don’t like them. Gonna have to do cans because those fuckers always fall out of my ear holes. I was wearing them while walking the dog the other day and I leaned over to pick up her shit and had to bat one out of the way before it landed on her turd!

If you're willing to potentially deal with returning them, the worst that can happen is ... you don't like them and decide to return them.

I figure if I don't like them, I'll just have some really expensive (but not as expensive as they were) "weirdo who wants to talk to me" deterrent.

Oh, and way to go managing to prevent the one from falling into your dog's shit!!!

Baking soda paste really does help with wasp stings.

However, make sure you have saran wrap and an ace bandage, or something similar, ready before you apply the baking soda paste ...

And if you don't have saran wrap and think you'll be clever by substituting a baggie and some sports tape, make sure and have the tape pre-torn and tape the baggie at the bottom first and immediately after applying the baking soda paste.

I have it down now, but I should have been taking video the first time I tried it. It would have been really good for a laugh.

Did I tell youse guise that I gave myself a chemical burn using a poultice for a mosquito bite? I have used that baking soda/water mix a bunch of times before but for some reason, it totally fucked me up this last time so I had to go out and buy calamine lotion like a filthy plebe consumer.

And a Benadryl itch relief stick and aquaphor anti itch cream. My friend also recommended some clicker thing that’s supposed to help but I hate Amazon so I’ve been all, “nah, fuck that” about it.

Eek. No.
How does one give themselves a chemical burn using a poultice for a skeeter bite???
What did you put on it?

It took me a couple of days to figure out what got me, but I looked at a bunch of pretty awful pictures of reactions to spiders and stinging insects, and it was some kind of wasp. I knew it wasn't a bee or yellow jacket, but beyond that, I didn't know.

It's getting itchier, but so far, it is nothing like the itching I experienced when a yellow jacket got me a couple of years ago. That reminded me of having poison ivy.

No fuggin’ idea! I mixed a little batch up (only baking soda & water!), applied it and immediately felt a little stinging sensation so I thought- “hellz yeah! Must REALLY be working!” So I left it on for a few minutes (it was getting more & more painful, but beauty is pain, right??) then washed it off and the skin on the bite and everywhere the mixture touched was red & raw. Couple hours later, it scabbed over and looked like a curling iron burn. I’ve got sissy ass skin that will tolerate so much and then one day, it’s like- nah, fuck that. I don’t wanna anymore.

Just baking soda and water??? Next time try witch hazel or hydrogen peroxide.

Hahaha ... yeah, I'm of the "if it hurts, it must be working" school of thought, too.
That sounds a bit rough, though, especially over a skeeter bite.
