I have to wear a bowtie next year for a wedding I'm a groomsman in and I hate it.I’ve worn a bow tie when I’ve been a groomsman/best man at a wedding and at prom in HS. I don’t think I’ve ever worn a long tie though
I don’t wear em, but I can see the usefulness of blazers and jackets. I can’t think of any practical purpose that neckties serve. It’s pure vanity. Can’t even call it style over substance since nobody in the history of time hasn’t looked like an egg head dork while wearing a necktieI'm game. I wear a tie about 1/3 of the time now, usually when I have a presentation or a meeting with people outside my agency. Would love to ditch the long sleeve shirts as well, although I do like rocking the blazers and jackets in the spring and fall
They’re annoying, but the worst thing I’ve had to wear at a wedding was suspenders at my brother’s wedding. Such a God damn pain in the ass, and made me question why I couldn’t just wear my overalls.I have to wear a bowtie next year for a wedding I'm a groomsman in and I hate it.
Suspenders are going the way of tuxedos with the younger generation. I've been in probably 8 or so weddings, including my own and the one next year, and only one involved a tux. Thank god never suspenders, that's just retarded. They’re annoying, but the worst thing I’ve had to wear at a wedding was suspenders at my brother’s wedding. If I ever get married, groomsmen attire will be overalls and pearl snap shirts as God intended
The one with suspenders is the only one I’ve been a part of that a tux wasn’t required. If I’m just a guest, I’m wearing overalls and if you don’t like it, don’t invite meSuspenders are going the way of tuxedos with the younger generation.
