GAME Colorado (0-0) @ #17 TCU (0-0) 12 pm (ET) FOX

I'm wondering what their depth is. Long season.
The other question is, if things do start going south for them, do they have the grit to turn it around? None of them are really tied to Colorado, the school, the culture, or have any history together fighting for each other. Do they check out after a couple of bad losses?

Gets credit for the early win, but a bit too early to declare the whole team flip is a success.

Early season even veteran teams are a bit rusty at hitting guys in a different uniform and that levels the experience as a unit gap that Colorado has.

The question we don't know the answer to is will the more veteran teams get that rowing all together faster than a team of guys with no history together. Does that matter as much anymore? We will find out.

I'm not sold they make serious waves in the Pac, but could have a few more upsets in them.
i don't follow college football, but this seems to be a success already just based on this fact

Yep. Heard a preacher say that sometimes a church can't have any blessed additions until it has some blessed subtractions.
the church certainly knows how to deal with transfers.

What will it be for you? The faux ebonics (as though he's any more black than you or I)? The ceaseless self-serving bullshit? The not-so-subtle pervasive racism?
Turns out it was "I have receipts" and ignoring sports writers who had the temerity to do their jobs and question whether canning an entire team was a good idea. As usual, it's always about Deon and his lack of professionalism.

All that said, I'm not stupid and that was an impressive game against what it is likely to be a team who probably won't be all that good. I said it in another post - compare how well they were coached to Florida - sheesh, that has to be frustrating for the Gators. At the time I was really impressed with the hire of the Kent State HC to be his OC ... that was a really good move.

I feel the same. Hard not to respect what we saw today and the final score don't lie.

Not sure many people thought the best QB, WR and CB in the Pac 12 would be from Colorado.

So is CU back or did TCU fall out hard this year?
