I think he is addicted to the shoulder chip.

Michael Jordan was like that he needed a beef to fire him up and get top performance and if he couldn't find one he would make one up (the problem was he actually believed his fake beefs). Prime is like that he needs to feel disrespected and wants his team to feel that way in order to hit peak performance. It's less thin-skinned and more calculated identity-building.

I think he’s more like a Muhammed Ali. He’s just doing it for the hype in and of itself. He’s bored if things turn into a run of the mill everyday event.

OU had a basketball coach back in the 80s who was actually a lot like Deion, his name was Billy Tubbs. He wanted his teams to be cocky and beat you into the ground. His players gave him crap later on because by the time they walked into a gym the other team hated them big time. He thought his teams played better knowing that. Deion isn’t a lot different.

That's good question. Pretty sure there is, just not sure what.

I don't think the school is supposed to be involved. I know Caleb Williams has gifted his teammates and other USC teams with product from a couple of his NIL deals.

I assume that was okay because it was from the player.

Not sure about a company the coach is working with. I'd hope he made sure it was okay before he did it.

I asked that question tongue in cheek but after thinking about it, I don’t think there is now. I don’t think any entity was to try and enforce it.
