Bookie:
$ 10,500.00
There are a lot of interesting early match-ups this week and not many prime time slots that look that great:

12pm - USC @ Colorado - This should be over quickly but the train wreck that is Colorado is not done yet so that makes it interesting,
12pm - Florida @ KY - Weird game Florida is ranked 22 (which is questionable) and KY is undefeated but played no one but this game rarely disappoints.
12pm - aTm @ Arkansas - Arkansas blew it against BYU but played LSU tough. This one could go any way possible.
3:30pm- Kansas @ Texas - there are a lot of 3:30 shitty games I'll be watching Auburn vs UGA but I don't recommend that one.
6pm - LSU @ Ole Miss - The rivalry game no one understands but those two fanbases.
7:30pm - South Carolina @ Tennessee - This is more of a flip-during-commercials kind of game.
7:30pm - Notre Dame @ Duke - Don't be sleeping on the Blue Devils.

The slate is not great and I did not find one B1G game that I felt was interesting and the ACC and Big 12 were pretty weak.

I'd have to agree with LSU/Ole Miss.

I spent 5 years in Biloxi and never got a sense of that being a "rivalry". I had many Mississippi friends/neighbors and I don't recall them saying anything about it.
Seems more of an LSU thing because @tigerbait used to rag on Ole Miss.

careful, our QB is "day to day" with a high ankle sprain. Could see Max come back in. Max is great for a drive or two but isn't someone who can sustain drives all game.

Not gonna lie, I think this could be a really good weekend of games. Outside of A&M/Arkansas and SC/Tenn, those games should all be fairly good.

A&M/Arkansas and SC/Tenn both have potential

Sorry, I should have said "relevance". I'd say all 4 of those teams are basically out of any sort of real national conversation.

Think so? I see no powerhouses this year. Wide open at this point IMO. A lot of football left to be played.

SC/Tenn is going to be a great game. We haven't forgotten last year...

I feel comfortable saying that none of those 4 teams are in the NC hunt at this point. There might not be any apparent powerhouses yet, but I can say that those 4 are definitely not powerhouses. The revenge narrative is fun, but not for non-UT/USC fans.

Challenge accepted!

We're gonna win the SEC.

ND has 4 straight night games. 2 on the road.

Sanders is going to throw for 400 yards on SC.. That secondary looks really bad from what I saw late Saturday night

The Bussin Bowl. Are there any other trophies being handed out this week?

Illinois @ Purdue: The Purdue Cannon

"It all started in 1905 when a group of Purdue students took the Cannon to Champaign in anticipation of firing it to celebrate a Boilermaker victory. Although Purdue won 29–0, Illinois supporters, including Quincy A. Hall, discovered it in a culvert by the field and took it before the Purdue students could start their "booming" celebration.

Hall later moved it to his farmhouse near Milford, Illinois, where it survived a fire and gathered dust until he suggested it be used as a trophy in the football series between the two schools when the rivalry resumed in 1943 after an 11-year lapse. It was presented at halftime to the schools' athletic directors, Doug Mills and Guy Mackey Before the Cannon became an annual tradition, Illinois led the series 15–8–2."
The cannon is now maintained by the Tomahawk Service and Leadership Honorary at Purdue and Illini Pride.

Purdue leads 39-30-2
