Brock Bowers out 4-6 weeks

Cant Look Uh Oh GIF by Katelyn Tarver

I could maybe see him packing it in and just waiting for the NFL money. Dude is a top ten maybe even top 5 pick
Unless the falcons draft him....those fuckers wouldn't know what to do with a talented te if they had one sitting on the sidelines

Bears will prob take him at 2.

LOL. Kirby has done what he has done at UGA. Back to back national championships and undefeated so far this season. And some think that the coach isn't football savvy enough to have recruited some reliable back-ups.

Ridder sucks. I’m surprised Pitts and London haven’t put in trade requests

The TE room is deep even without Bowers.

Assuming y'all can make that without Bowers...good thing it didn't happen before the Auburn game.
Of course, that's the assumption. Like I said, there is a reason we use 10-12 receivers every game and don't rely on a couple of receivers only like some other teams. But, he's obviously a big loss to us, so we will see how it goes. We have receiver talent, the question is more can Bobo and Beck adjust their games without Bowers? We shall see.

That's some fucking copium right there. Shit, Bowers is a generational talent, pretending you got another Bowers backing him up is nonsense.
Of course it is ... that is what one does when you lose a really good player. We lost George Pickens for all of 2021, and AD Mitchell for 2022, and Burton was out a ton with injuries.

We'll go with "next man up" and then see what happens. One thing you won't see from me, and I hope not from Dawg fans, is all the whining we've seen from other teams when they lost top players. Injuries are part of the game, we purposely rotate players at all positions and it hurts us in recruiting. Let's see if everyone steps up.

We get killed in recruiting receivers because we don't highlight 1000 yard receivers. There is a reason for that which has paid off when Pickens, AD Mitchel, and Burton were hurt. Now we see if we are deep enough to cover for our best receiver, again. If Bobo does his job and adjusts - we have a byte week coming up - and if Beck has matured enough, I like our chances.

UGA is going to go winless without Bowers, dumb ass

All I'm saying is a 1/4 of the current passing game production is hurt.

That seems significant.

I'd also say having the next 3 games at home should lessen the sting a bit.

Good luck.

Ahem (my fantasy football team can attest) ahem ahem…on the field either

Could that "reason" be that those 10-12 are like dropping from 5*/4* talent to 5*/4* talent? Not like much of a drop off like it would be with less talented teams.

It’s so when a receiver goes down for us, our entire offense doesn’t shut down like Bama and Ohio State. If you ain’t got depth, that’s a flaw, not an excuse
