The remaining pieces, where do they land?

Gotta love Notre Dame dictating what the ACC does to and them not even being a full member:laugh:.
I’d tell ND to sign the invitation to join as a full member and then we’ll invite whoever else ya want
Word. They're just trying to have it both ways; keep their annual game with Stanford and still be able to fulfill their ACC obligation. It would give them a free game to schedule with some other team

From my calculations, those "free" drinks in Las Vegas are a little over $80 each.
Stage Door Casino the next road behind the strip in Vegas Advertise $1 Bud or Michelob bottles and $2 Hot dogs.
We went and each got a Michelob (ultra) and I got a dog. Spent about 15 minutes there. Total bill cost me $64 dollars. $4 for the food/drink and $60 for the poker machine that’s at every damn barstool. Your Math is correct.

Now that ESPN+ is carrying college baseball I'll just keep it on. Hell I can drop $80 in the bar in one night. LOL

One night?!?!?

I can do that in one round!

Notre Dame killed the BigEast by using them like a hand towel in the nightstand drawer too and now they are killing the ACC as well, all that would have to happen to save the ACC is for ND to join as a full member.
Texas ain’t got anything on Notre Dame as far as killing conferences, and that’s sayin something.
Stanford might make sense and if SMU is going to come for free as reported then just add them but leave Cal at home. Why anyone would want to be associated with that liberal cesspool is beyond me.

Uh oh! Careful! That scary sociopolitical mall cop is gonna bust in here at tell you to 'fuck off' then leave without bringing any further topical conversation to the table!

I think that IS hurting them more than people realize.

That and the fact they get horrible tv ratings, their fan support is ridiculous small for the size of the school and their athletic department is almost bankrupt.

I somewhat think Oregon St. and Washington St. eventually end up in the Big 10 once the legal dust settles on the remaining PAC assets.

They have this year and next for the rulings to play out.
Once they're adjudicated sole control of said assets sell them off to the highest bidders and take a reduced share like Oregon and Washington did.

The key is for the two to remain competitive in that time frame. Their scheduling for 2024 is still in question as far as I know.
I assume they're in contact with teams nationwide that have open weeks next year.

I want you to take a second and relax, then dial 1-800-NOT-SANE and the professionals on the other end of the line will walk you through the steps you need to take.

What do you think happens to Oregon St and Washington St?
I think it's going to get really complicated for them and multiple steps:

Step 1 - They are going to ride the PAC into the sunset and pocket as much cash and assets as they can and fight the asset part in court if they have to.

Step 2 - The PAC name has value so at that point I think a negotiation begins where you might see the MWC merge into the PAC and take the name or a majority of those members decide they want to disband the MWC and join the new PAC leaving some of the lower tier teams in the dust.

How it will play out I have no idea but I don't see a scenario where the B1G picks them up because there isn't any value. I mean they passed on Stanford and Cal who many thought had a shot so they aren't going to take leftovers the optics would be horrible. OSU and WSU are screwed.

What less value does Oregon St. and Washington St have than Indiana, Rutgers, etc?

Not only have 'travel' issues (costs/logistics) been run across these boards relentlessly regarding USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington, the belief by many PAC fans is that there will still be late games.
Those games will likely be between former PAC teams.
The Big 10 will grab those two for pennies on the dollar before they grab a MWC team.

The ACC grabbed Cal ffs.

Here's the "party line" answer which is bullshit as far as I'm concerned. But, never the less.........

Indian is a charter member and therefore worthy of membership. Rutgers is in the NY/NJ market which makes them worthy.

But, in fact. They ain't any better than Wazzu or the Beavs. They just get a lot of money because.
