Earl Thomas released

Name the last fight in football
last one I can think of (I am sure I am wrong) is Bennett when he slammed a defender to the ground in Chicago & got suspended.

I can’t say I remember it, was it an actual fight? I was just kind of saying in the NFL it is mostly pushing and posturing. But I guess you could classify the Garrett/Rudolph thing a fight since numerous players were going at it.

I dont remember if punches were thrown, but the slam was quite impressive.
I guess the last fistocuffs I can remember was forever ago. When Westbrook fucked up S.Davis in Washington. I am sure there have been a more recent one. But I dont remember.

Oh! Someone pointed out the Jets one when a 6th round LB broke Geno Smith's jaw. That might be the most recent one.

Gino’s was the last one I recall outside of the Garrett one. Which was kind of my point with my post. Fights don’t always happen. Temper flare and guys try to show they are a man but rarely does it ever actually turn into a fight. Let alone enough to wear teammates say fuck this guy.

Damn y’all remember when Earl was flipping off the Seahawks? Now the Ravens are flipping off Earl Thomas. Life comes at you fast.

Maybe there was more to this.
I think so too....Harbs says he likes to see the competitiveness among his players so it wasn't that....
He probably said "All Lives Matter" or stood for the Anthem....Something decent and we know the NFL has no room for stuff like that anymore....

ET was amazing for Seattle and a very big part of the reason we won the Super Bowl, but the middle finger flip to Carroll and the fact he stood by that (AFTER Seattle paid him once, in addition to drafting him top 15) said it all. When he did that I was like, "Dude FUCK that guy." I wouldn't be surprised if he was causing locker room issues prior to that season as well... The true loyal Seahawks from that SBOWL year were Wright, Wagner, Chancellor, and Wilson... and guess what? All are still with the team (Chancellor was forced to retire due to injury, but Seattle even paid him an additional year that he didn't even play).

Fuck Earl Thomas.

That said, Ravens are DAMN lucky Lamar Jackson is on a cheap contract, because $15M dead cap, WOOF. They'd be fucked if they were paying a QB.

I would consider AJ Green vs Jalen Ramsey a fight, although that was a few years ago. I feel like we get maybe one good fight a season.
