I don’t think this win is being appreciated enough. They lost to Kansas folks. No you did not travel back in time to the 1900’s or 1920’s. This is 20fucking23 and the Oklahoma Sooners gave up 38 points to KANSAS.

I’m sorry Sooners fans, but there are zero excuses for this. 0.

Texas and Oklahoma are about to be mid-level SEC teams lmfao. I hope the $$$ was worth it.

WTF happened? I was out of town for a wedding and didn't get home until late yesterday. I will not be watching the replay but was it the weather delay or what? I see both starting linebackers got injured and OU was down to 1 running back. I did pick Kansas to win this game btw so I wasn't shocked. OU been playing with fire the last couple weeks.

to be fair, KU is averaging almost 36 points per game and 7 yards per play. that offense is good.

they've got a pretty good shot at winning 8+ games
Kansas is pretty good this year, and everyone has a down day … that is why a 12 team playoff is superior to a 4 team playoff.

weather probably didn't help either

The wedding during the playing portion of the season, that’s what TH happened.
It’s all y’all’s fault for allowing/participating in that tomfoolery.
Jinxed Oklahoma’s perfect season for a marriage that’s 100% doomed because of when they got married.

^^ THIS ^^

Years ago I was invited to a wedding on a Nebraska football Saturday. That's typically not a good move in these parts if you want good participation.

Anyway we were assured in the invitation that there would be a room in the wedding reception social hall with a tv so we could watch the Husker game. Throughout the entire game bridesmaids and/or whomever kept coming into that room and guilting us for being 'rude' and not participating in the reception stuff.

lol it's tough to beat backup QBs..

Also this is being talked about everywhere.. so not sure why OP is saying this like nobody has noticed.

Sooner people like my neighbor are pissed.. even he acknowledged that this loss was worse than any of the UT losses to KU in that 5 year stretch.

I get it, but i also don't think the sky is falling.. only reason why it feels that way is because sooners have talked themselves up after the RRS game that a CFP spot was the only option or the season is a complete failure. Really riding the magic dragon smoke..

when in reality.. even if you lose another 3 games, this has been a huge improvement. Depth is being challenged.. after the RRS, they got banged up.

I'd imagine it's a mix of there being OU fans who have never seen them lose to Kansas and the history of Kansas-Oklahoma. Most of KU's wins were against pre-Wilkinson OU teams. Texas-KU is lopsided, but Texas didn't really play KU prior to them joining the same conference

imagine if OSU or Michigan lost to Rutgers. Sure they are having an ok year, but the top team in the conference does not lose to the conference punching bag

Sooners are rightfully embarrassed. You think Bama, Georgia, LSU are ever dropping a game to Kansas?

Well, Kirby Smart has lost to both Vandy and Georgia Tech in the same season

They are the third best team in the conference. Perfect storm, is what it is.

Our Coaching staff seems to drift in and out of consiousness during games.
Not sure it's going to get better.
Hope I'm wrong.

Kansas is a powerhouse ™
So is Maryland ™

Pretty good team out there in Lawrence.

It will be fun to watch who they embarrass in their bowl game.
