Did yo miss the part about UW playing the following next year?

Michigan Wolverines (although they will likely be without a HC, and most of the team transferred after getting bitch slapped)
at Iowa Hawkeyes
USC Trojans
at Penn State Nittany Lions
UCLA Bruins
at Oregon Ducks

Then you get to play tOSU or the 1st or 2nd best teams in the B1G.

That's tougher than anything you've ever played.
What? If you take out Michigan (which you pretty much did, lol) that looks a lot like what we played this year. 3 of those we already play, we missed UCLA this year, but they suck anyway. Sub Penn state and Iowa with Utah and Oregon State.

Failing to see how that’s much better.

Washington is getting jobbed. For one no way Florida State should be ahead of them. The ACC sucks……..again this season. That conference is horrible.

You've already conceded the conference to Oregon?
Not at all. I’m just getting the vibe of the 2000 season where UW, Miami and Florida st all finished with 1 loss and UW for jobbed.

Ah yes, the year we beat Miami at the beginning of the year, but still ended up ranked behind them all year. Even after finishing with the same record.

Only if WSU and OSU pull upsets over the next few weeks.

- tOSU/UM are very likely to have one undefeated ... have each other then Iowa.
- FSU has to get by Lousiville, and the UF game is in the Swamp.
- UGA has UTjr, the Bama and UGA play.
- Tejas has looked beatable all season, they have Texas Tech and then who knows who in the CCG
- If you run the table you are in. If Oregon beats you, then they may get in. If either loses to OSU/WSU, you are out.

Most likely is the B1G winner.
UGA should run the table, but @UTjr and then Bama in CCG ain't an easy task as well as we are playing.
Bama really looks like they have gotten better as the season goes on. They have @Auburn where we know anything can happen, and then will be a slight dog to the Dawgs.
I'd guess that FSU and Texas run the table.

What do you think about the WSU and OSU games for you and Oregon?
my fear, Oregon st beats UW, and then loses to Oregon. And then UW beats wsu and Oregon but gets left out. The writing is on the wall, we will get zero benefit of a doubt. One loss Texas, bama, Michigan, Georgia or Ohio st will be in before UW

Yeah if you lose this late, you're probably done barring chaos elsewhere

Which is why the 12-team CFP is going to be so good. There are about 9-10 legit teams this year that I think could win the NC. And there isn't that one really elite team this year as there has been the last 3 or 4. Man, that would be fun to see some of these matchups decided on the field, not by committee.

A one loss Michigan is out … strength of schedule should mean something.

What do you think about the WSU and OSU games for you and Oregon?

For UW:

OSU is better than a lot of people realize. They're a legit top 20 team. I believe Oregon State is currently a 2.5 point favorite over Washington. This is Oregon State's last home game in the PAC 12 and they have a top 5 team from the NW coming into town. It's going to be a wild atmosphere on Saturday. OSU has some vulnerabilities in the secondary, which UW should be able to take advantage of. However, I think UW's defense is going to struggle. It should be tight but I'm leaning OSU. WSU is in free fall. They've lost 6 games in a row. I know it's a rivalry game but I see them getting lit up in Seattle.

For UO:

ASU gets Rashada back this week and their defense is better than a lot of people realize. It's also a classic let down spot for Oregon. Between huge games vs. USC and Oregon State and it's on the road. That said, Oregon is probably not going to actually lose this game. Oregon State will have a legit chance against Oregon but the Ducks will still be favored in Autzen. OSU just hasn't been the same team on the road.

As for the CFP:
Obviously it depends on how the other games play out. But my thought is that Washington will probably need to go 13-0 to feel good about the CFP. The advanced metrics don't favor them and it's why they're still the lowest ranked undefeated team despite having a better resume than FSU. If they get help, they could make the CFP at 12-1 as long as they win the PAC and beat Oregon twice. Oregon, on the other hand, will probably make the CFP at 12-1. The advanced metrics really like Oregon and the committee has made them the top 1 loss team despite having a weaker resume than Alabama and Texas.

Not really a fan of the committees work.. They are completely ignoring SOS. OSU has better SOS, than Georgia. Washington better SOS and win than FSU. Oregon has the worst SOS of the 1 loss teams and least impressive win. Committee is sending a message that you are an idiot for scheduling anyone good

This is the dumbest shit ever. You’re not wrong. But it’s so dumb.

“You’ve won all your games and have the best resume, but we did some math and sorry, it doesn’t look good.”

A one loss Michigan is out … strength of schedule should mean something.
I have to imagine that if 4 teams are undefeated, 4 teams are making it in. If 3 teams are undefeated and a 1 loss team enters, it's going to be the team with the "best" loss (IE the loss to their perceived highest ranked team).

That is pretty specific, and I like the way you think, but Michigan's weak schedule is not going to pass the playoff test unless they go undefeated.

They aren’t getting penalized for their weak schedule in the current rankings. So who knows.
