FSU files for exit from ACC

It wasn't about ACC, according to reports it was about that QB injury.

But we all know that if it was the QB at Alabama, they would still be in.

The QB excuse was just a convenient excuse to ensure a SEC team made it in.

If we have learned anything today we’ve learned that the ACC is not a real P5, it’s a hybrid G5.
Notre Dame needs to get off the pot as well. If not, they might as well just join the PAC.

Nah this confirmed that not fully joining the acc was the right move. We are not stuck in a conference. Doubt we will ever get a bye but go 10-2 and they are in

Why? Once they calm down they will realize they have a far better chance of getting into the CFP in the ACC than in the SEC or B1G. This is from a competition perspective, not a financial perspective.

All of these lists fully acknowledge that some of these teams will be up or down in a given year. Don't @ me about UF ... no one loves them not being in a bowl more than me.

SEC - they have to play UA, UA, UGA, LSU, ATM, OU, TX, and UF at least every other year, plus one in the CCG.

B1G - UM, tOSU, UW, UO, USC, UCLA, PSU, Whisky at least every other year, plus one in the CCG.

ACC - Clemson.

Now, again, why would they want to be in those conferences for CFP qualification purposes? They should get in every year from the ACC, even in a year when Clemson is good.

I think the TCU debacle last year had more to do with it.

The TCU debacle where TCU won their semifinal game?
65-7, and you know that was what I was referring to. Blame Michigan for losing to them, but TCU didn't belong if the standard was best 4. Last year it was most deserving. They weren't going to make that mistake again.

If Alabama had to play the conference championship without Milroe we would have lost by 30...just as FSU would have if they played Georgia last night.

Did Michigan belong?

When Michigan loses their 8th bowl game in a row giving up 35+ points, I think we will know what the common denominator is.

ACC was 6-4 against SEC this year. FSU 2-0

Lol
This sounds better than what it really is. You make it sound like the top SEC teams were beaten by ACC teams. Are you aware that most of the SEC losses involved South Carolina twice, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, and Florida? You think that shit sounds impressive? That is like bragging about beating Colorado.
