MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Detroit Lions šŸ¦ @ Dallas Cowboys šŸ¤  on a Saturday Night edition of MNF.

He knew the only way this game mattered was if the niners were to lose a game anyway. I canā€™t fault him for taking an aggressive approach.
Nah, he won that game last night with Philly losing and they get the #2 seed.

It is. Tonight was the best effort of the season. Lamb might not believe it. But itā€™s true.

He wasnā€™t covered by anyone to his left.

Lions were in heavy formation with double guards to the right. Unbalanced line.
He absolutely was. There was a WR on the line and a TE went in motion from behind him.

Jake Browning is too good

Stop dumbing down the board.
Still butthurt about your timeout due to drunk shitting on everything, I see. Stop being a dumb cunt that doesn't know the rules. your coach is a fucking idiot and the refs screwed both teams. never should have been a 2 point conversion, but you just cry your little eyes out anyways because you don't know the rules.

No way to think Philly was going to lose .
It's why you play the odds and don't take unnecessary chances like 3 straight 2 pt conversions on the road when your offense is cranking along.

They didn't need Philly to lose. If they had both won their last two games the lions would have gotten the 2.

The refs obviously would have called a bogus PI on Detroit and you guys win on a FG anyways.

Thatā€™s not what I understood. Pretty sure for that to be like that then the niners would have had to lose a game. The Lions were locked into the 3 unless the niners lost a game, or of course if Philly lost.

Nah. If the lions beat the Cowboys they would have won the common opponent tiebreaker over the eagles.

The cowboys havenā€™t lost at home in 2 years, guess he thought it was his best chance

Or you get another "oops wrong team, 15 yards for tripping your OWN player" BS call eh?

Plenty of fuck ups, but the guy not making it clear he was eligible is on 68 and no one else. His WR covering him up is on the WR.
Ford you keep saying this, but for the WR to cover up 68 he would have to be on the los, and he was clearly off the line.

He was on the line. There was a TE that was to his left and off the line but went in motion. His head broke the belt line of the center, meaning the WR is on the line.

If the WR is off the line and the TE who was on his left before motion was off the line then it is illegal formation.

If 70 came in as eligible, which Dan even admitted he did, then he has an OL on his right and that is an illegal formation.

There was a lot that went wrong on that play. Campbell tried to be smart and fucked it all up.

Ford, I think you are seeing this with through your Silver-Starred Goggles my friend. Pretty sure when you're saying Coach said "70 came in eligible", he actually finished saying "that was the explanation".

"Two people can't report. I don't want to talk about it, alright. I explained everything, pregame, to a T. Seventy reported, sixty-eight didn't, we threw it to sixty-eight, that was the explanation."

I think Brad Allen's crew screwed the pooch here once again.

The play in my mind was legal, however the play couldn't count because not only did Allen's crew screw the Lions, they screwed the Cowboys too, since the Cowboy defense was told 70 reported as eligible and not 68.

Furthermore, if 70 was eligible then the play should have been flagged at the snap for illegal formation since 70 was covered, which didn't happen and occurred before the illegal touch. Lastly, if 68 wasn't eligible, there too should have been a penalty for ineligible player downfield called before an illegal touching penalty.

Bottom line, after all the other terrible officiating that Brad Allen's crew has made this year, it likely pulls them out of the post season, or at least that's what I've been reading.
