Just had to listen to one of those Ted Talks business speaker things. It amazes me there's a market for this kind of shit.

Good morning good people. The Dodgers have won the World Series. I actually watched the last inning. The memories of Brooklyn and Ebbets Field are alive again. It's been 30 years and it feels good. I think Sandy Koufax is the only old-timer left, so I hope he enjoyed the results.

It's real cold for Dallas at this time of the year. Not quite freezing, but a lot of the surrounding counties are below 32. Never did go out yesterday, so today is a must.

I'm expecting an Ohio State mask to arrive today. At least that's what the e-mails say. I bought 2, one for the wife, though she's a West Virginia fan. That's where she was born.

Thought for the day: The man who smiles when things go wrong has thought of someone to blame it on.

Then our bosses had to sell us on "I hope that really resonated with you guys. We as a leadership team won't followup as we want that speech to really set in."

Oh cool, I just watched a 25 minute video where some overpaid speaker talked to me like a 6 year old. Yea, really resonates well.
