Yeah I retired a year and a half ago at 60 as I found I could make the little money I needed to bridge the gap by driving these gigs part time. I did Uber/Lyft for a year, now I deliver for restaurants mostly in the evenings but I've been mixing in a few morning because I can do them in this area close to home.

I slept like shit too, yet conditions were perfect last night. Kept the windows and doors wide open and it was raining. Nice and comfortable temperature with a slight breeze. I should have been sound asleep.

I don't miss the cold.

Funny you said that. I was just telling my wife the only stress I have now is when I pick up 2 orders from Dunkin Donuts and I need to make sure I keep them straight. Oh and when to get the oil changed. HUGE change from when I was working, that stress was becoming unbearable so I quit. Life's too short to be unhappy.

same. popped up at 3:30 am, no idea why. thats my "fuck my life" wake up time. can never get back to sleep.
 
Good morning good people. Still well below normal temps here, but getting a little warmer. Looking forward to another football weekend. OSU and Penn State with a 3 person white out.

Finally got the tire fixed yesterday. It took a long time because the wheel lock could not be reached, due to the lift in the back of the car that blocks it. So they broke it off for 50 dollars and finally put on a tire. A lot of people there so it took 3 hours to get all that done.

Thank goodness management at this complex has a garbage can next to the bank of mail boxes. The thing was so full of political mailings that it was almost overflowing. This is the most mail I've ever received dealing with politics. Must suck to live in Pennsylvania this time of the year.

Thought for the day: When I was young, I didn't care what my parents dressed me in. Looking at old pictures, it's obvious they didn't care either.

Tire sounded like a pain in the ass, why were the locks blocked again?

For all you fellow college hockey followers, Travis Roy passed away. He was former BU player that played 11 seconds until he suffered a spinal cord injury that paralyzed him from a hit from behind into the boards. He was an advocate for people that had suffered the same fate as him. He had passed from surgery to help make his way of life a bit easier. 2020 is bipolar it seems.

I don't follow college hockey but I was aware of his injury. So very sorry to read this.
