Also not sure who you guys would have given the conn Smythe to other than mcdavid? Dude had almost double the points of anyone on the Panthers and the wheels completely fell off on Bob. That was a complete ugly team win by the panthers.

Bob wasn't outstanding in 4 games in the entire playoffs. McDavid wasn't outstanding in 5 games in the Finals.

Bob had the sixth best save percentage of goalies. That’s almost middle of the pack for 16 playoff teams.

If Mcdavid only played in the WCF and Final, he would have still lead the Panthers in scoring through all 4 rounds…

I'm not one to cherry pick stats as my sole basis of opinion; there's a lot more to the game than stat sheets.

If we were going to play the stat game, why not Evan Bouchard? Bouchard was the second leading scorer in the playoffs, he led the league in +/-, had 2 more minutes of TOI/G than McDavid and had 3 GWGs to McDavid's 1.

Yea, like the fact that whenever McDavid touches the puck, you’re getting a high quality scoring chance…

Bouchard is a decent pick because his Corsi and Fenwick were better than McDavid, but he’s a bomber so that makes sense but his d zone starts is awful for a defenseman. The ice time stat doesn’t work in his favor either.

Remove the media attention, why do you hate McDavid?
