way to miss the point, retard. Wake Forest is a SoCon-level school playing in the ACC because they had a close relationship with UNC and NCSU in 1953. If they weren't located in metro Raleigh in 1953 they probably don't even have a football program in 2024. a Wake/Ole Miss series makes as much sense for fans of the sport as Duke/Alabama.

i think this is a dumb financial decision by Wake, but i'm not sure why anyone (outside of Ole Miss administrators) should gaf.

Because Oregon State is more closely aligned with Wake Forest culturally according to @Hitman Hart so its worth flying thousands of miles across the country to play a game instead of staying in the Southern United States.

I will say that for an OOC, Wake vs Ole Miss makes a whole heck of a lot more sense than Wake vs Oregon State. Now if we are talking baseball, bring that shit on! But for football, just doesn't make much sense. At least with those others you listed, minus MissSt vs ASU, you have a P5 going against historic power.
