One of my daughters got me a French press a few years ago. It sat in the cupboard for almost 2 years because it looked like too much trouble. Finally gave it a try when the wife was cleaning out the cupboard and said "use it or I'm throwing it out".

Tried it the next morning...took 1 sip, got up and threw away my coffeemaker. Been using the French press ever since. lol
