I'm not voting, but I don't think there's a shot in hell that Michigan finishes ranked this year, let alone in the top 10.
Almost Certain losses - Ohio State
Probable losses - Oregon, Illinois and Indiana
Toss ups - Michigan State, Washington
Should win - Northwestern
Best case scenario right now, Michigan wins both toss ups, beats Northwestern and takes out 1-2 of the probably losses finishing with 8 or 9 wins.
Worst case, Michigan finishes 5-7. I'm thinking we land somewhere in the 7-5 range unless there's some dramatic improvement by this offense or we play a miracle game against Ohio State.
Not after what I've seen so far. Any team capable of getting a lead on us early in the game is going to win. The only games we've won so far have been heavily reliant on defensive scores, or our defense putting us in a short field to win. USC was a bit of a fluke because it required like 4 super long scoring runs in order for michigan to maintain the lead. That's unlikely going to be something we can even replicate, let alone count on.![]()
You win two of the three games you listed in probable losses. Texas is counting on you guys to finish strong! So is USC.
@Red_Alert
What's the story with 3-1 Clemson ranking?
Impressed by those wins at home over App St, NC St, and Stanford? Putting them in that coveted 25th spot that is so revered is questionable to me.

Yeah I saw the UGA ranking, no issue. I don't have an issue with any of it, but curious why a team with only 3 wins (two P4 at home) and a loss is ranked higher than a team with 4 wins (two P4 on the road) and a loss.I literally copied the exact AP poll but put the undefeated teams ahead of one loss teams.
Note I have Georgia as the highest ranked one loss team.

So if you just copied and pasted the ESPN poll and rearranged all the teams, where is A&M? You have assured me that A&M is ranked #25.I really didn't look at it that hard.
Just cut/pasted and edited to add undefeated teams above one loss teams.

Gotcha. So can I expect a B1G bias and an ACC bias rant over USC and Clemson now?I copied the AP poll from the AP thread.
A&M got pushed out of #25 because I added all of the undefeated teams ahead of one loss teams in the same AP order.

Maybe after I watch some granny pron.
We are rebuilding, not dead. I just want to see improvement week after week!!!I'm not voting, but I don't think there's a shot in hell that Michigan finishes ranked this year, let alone in the top 10.

This year is basically a waste since most of the offensive skill players we have are gone next year and there’s no functional QB to develop. We’ll have to see this offseason if they actually plan to do something about it or if we plan to just stay on the course and try to recruit that talent; but that takes time that Moore probably won’t have after this year.We are rebuilding, not dead. The more the season goes forward, the more I am pissed about the pussyfooting, lollygagging, hemhawing, and such. Moore and staff better get their asses on the trail. This year is basically a waste since most of the offensive skill players we have are gone next year and there’s no functional QB to develop.
