Pac12 expansion - looking to add 4 teams

I am being reasonable.

He said he wants Idaho because they can be a rivalry. Want and prefer are the same thing. In that same post, he refers to "we" meaning Washington State, not the Pac. You're inferring he meant the Pac, which he didn't. That's where the disconnect is man. Why would he refer to "we" as the Pac and reference Boise State, Gonzaga and Idaho as potential rivals to also include Oregon State? It doesn't, which he wasn't. His first post was only referencing Washington State.
 
This is coming from someone that lives deep in ACC country. I don't know why anyone would want to join this conference. Unless it is mainly for academics. By the end of the season, the ACC will probably have two ranked teams. I didn't and still don't see the reasons for adding Cal and Stanford especially in a sports sense. SMU maybe a tiny bit, but still way out of region, not that that matters anymore. Currently, the PAC 12 wouldn't be looking for so many teams to try and reconstruct the conference if Cal and Stanford stayed put.

I understand he wanted Idaho for wazzou. My question was for the whole PAC, not just wazzou. His answer of "not a rival" alluded to me that only rivals were being added, not just for wazzou but OSU too. Which is why I brought up USU and CSU. Considering WSU and OSU are now the longest tenured members of the PAC it's easy to see how the "we" could be contrived as ether WSU or OSU rivals. Which I thought was false and called him out on it.

But that isn't what he meant. Him saying "we" was referring to Washington State. Because he also added of what happened Saturday(Boise State game) and today (Gonzaga's addition). Oregon State did not have a game Saturday. His answer of "not a rival" was also referring to Washington State.

When I asked the question on UNM and Wyoming I was asking for the whole PAC. I took his "Not a Rival" to mean they won't be added because only rivals (of ether OSU or WSU) have been/would be added. Because that's what was alluded too. That is the whole reason I brought up USU.

You and I just aren't going to agree on this and I know the mental midget isn't ether.

Sure, but how's he supposed to know that when he's only referencing Washington State, on 3 different occasions in one sentence? He says I would like to add Idaho specifically because they can be a rival (which wouldn't make any sense if referring to Oregon State). Which was the first reference of just Washington State. Then states because of Saturday (Boise State game) and today (addition of Gonzaga). 3 separate references to Washington State on how he'd prefer Idaho, and you follow up with New Mexico and Wyoming who clearly aren't rivals or would be rivals of Washington State, he responds with just that, and then you come back with Utah State etc...

You're the one in the wrong here.

My post was self deprecating about how we got boat raced by Boise State and are going to get annihilated by Gonzaga. As a joke I said I wanted Idaho. Somehow it doesn’t compute.

If you take a post that literally mentions 4 teams that are natural rivals… Wazzu, the Zags, Boise State and Idaho and somehow come up with I’m talking about other teams then that’s on you and you are just arguing with yourself. Unless I’m missing something 4 schools that are a short bus trip from each other are natural rivals. All the schools your simple mind came up with are not natural rivals in any definition of the term.

For further reference that even a simpleton like you would understand. When I say we, I mean specifically my school just as any normal person does. If I’m talking about the entire conference I’ll mention the conference as any normal person would….just in case you need further clarification, it will say the Pac 12 added X.

I’m sure there are some words in there that might be too big for you but I’ll be happy to explain those words to you little fella.

Because this is a thread, wait for it.... on PAC 12 EXPANSION. I ask about teams for that expansion, get told "NOT RIVAL" then cite how other rivals aren't in it.

Yeah man I know it's a thread on P12 expansion. But the specific post you replied to mentioned nothing about adding a team from the conference's perspective. In fact, there were 3 instances in the post that directly reference Washington State.

It's fine if you misinterpreted what he meant. And then again in his post abot "not a rival". I'm only taking his side because it's the correct one in this instance. I didn't take his side when he said UNLV was in the best position in conference realignment history or however you said it.

Again it's okay if you misinterpreted what he meant.

I mean it should be obvious to anyone that watches CFB that Wyoming or UNM isn't a rival is Wazzou. So me asking about them in a PAC expansion thread shouldn't be interrupted as a reference to Washington state rivals. You answered that question in the previous post even.
