Week 7 Coaches Poll

LOL @ Georgia higher than Bama, A&M launching to #14, and Missouri only dropping 9 spots.
Don’t mind Georgia being higher. They lost a last second game on the road after 4 turnovers. I think these last 2 weeks has highlighted that Bama has a secondary problem

Love my Wolverines, but two loss teams don’t belong at this time of the year.

Should we use the same theory on a national championship game?

"They came back from a 30-7 halftime deficit and almost won, so....."

Little odd 8,9, and 10 are that high with a loss to unranked teams with 0 high end wins

Agreed. Tennessee and Ole Miss at least have blown out their opponents. LSU struggled with Nichols and UCLA for a while and should have lost to South Carolina. Them all being ahead of teams like BYU, IU, Iowa State is pretty laughable.

Miami is a sham

There are only 4 teams in the top 10 in SoR, GC and overall efficiency:

BYU
Ohio State
Texas
Indiana

Secondary is either new to the system or young, I think they are extremely talented and will come around. I think we have a D-line problem, can't get pressure, can't close gaps.

Not sure what you are trying to say there. That is championship game, winner is the NC. It’s not a game in early in the season, that you are trying to use as evidence to predict the rest of the season.

It’s not like you think Vandy should be ranked over Bama or Arkansas should be ranked over Tenn, despite what happened on the field

Still early and teams are still developing, but getting lit up in back to back weeks is a pretty ugly sign. It’s not fatal, but it has to be a serious concern

Their TE and RB's got 10 of their 16 passes, it wasn't the DB's blowing assignments most of the time. I was more concerned about our inability not to get gashed in the interior gaps. The play action is much more effective on 2nd and 3 than on 2nd and 10.

It's not all on them though, Vanderbilt clearly used their week off to call an excellent game, hats off to them.

It's pretty simple. Teams should be held accountable for losses and/or shitty play.

Georgia and Bama both have one loss. Georgia's loss was to Bama JUST LAST WEEK.

Georgia hasn't won at Vandy either.

If Bama had two losses then you'd maybe have a point in ranking Georgia ahead of them.

such a simple outlook, but go on
