Wake up it's Tuesday

place I get my haircut is raising their price (again) to $30...

I don't think I get anything new out of it and it's a bit frustrating. They do a good job but the price is getting a little ridiculous for the 15 mins it takes to cut my hair

That's where I am, but I've been going to this woman for a really long time, and to this place since before I could drive.

I just looked and the local Great Clips would charge $20. I get about 17 haircuts a year, so it would save me about $15 a month.

Those $15 are worth not going to Great Clips.

My barber has been $30 since 2022... I think maybe even before that but I started going to him in 2022

The shop I go to is still under $20, I think. I don't remember what I paid last time. I'm bad about keeping up with it, though.

my barber is still at 20, he's slow to increase his prices, lot of senior customers that grumble


I'm curious what my old barber charges, he was $11 for longest time and refused to increase. I think some of it was tax avoidance though since just about all his customers gave him 15-20
 
I do get shampoo, conditioning and styling in the $30.

Although, sometimes I think she should pay me because I'm a pretty entertaining guy to talk to.

I go to a local barber. He charges $20 for a haircut. Takes him about 15 mins tops to cut my hair. I usually tip $5

So would $30 for a haircut and a handy be justifiable?
