I'd have to be advocating for someone to be "groveling". I'm only pointing out that this system isn't going to push people to play harder OOC like we thought early in the season. It's going to still push people to play a weak OOC because record is the biggest factor.

But at the end of the day, if we get in we damn well better win. Never mind they are going to have 3/4 of the SEC playing away games, but with all the bitching we are doing, we better win when we get the chance. If it turns out we get PSU and then Miami, I am totally down with that.

If you're going to play a weak OOC, your margin for error is pretty narrow.

I've been the one saying that they are paying some attention to SOS or perhaps brand. There is a reason they had IU behind 5 1 loss teams and now behind 3 the last two weeks. But that's as far as they have gone thus far.

If they lose, they should be out. Same with Texas. As you pointed out, if you have a shitty schedule, your margin for error is slim. For those teams, they can't afford another loss.
