Nebraska Cornhuskers 2025 Recruiting Thread (Commit List in OP)

Jack McCallister - transfer starting Punter from Washington is visiting this weekend as well I believe. I like Nebraska's chances here.

Former 4-Star Purdue QB in the 2024 class is visiting today... Marcos Davila. Honestly an impressive get if you can nab him. He would be Rs-Fr going into the 2025 season which would put him one year behind Dylan. I think most people think Dylan is here at the most, two more seasons. It's a long game play for Davila if he commits.

Basically an in-kind replacement for Danny Kaelin

Another visitor is EDGE rusher Chris Murray from Sam Houston State. Murray 11.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks last season.

Here's a list of recent and future portal visitors... I will update as I come across more info:

- Dominick Guidice (OL - Michigan) Dec. 14
- Kameron Olds (EDGE - Kent State) Dec. 14-15
- Jaylen George (DL - East Tennessee State) Dec. 15
- Eric Rivers (WR - FIU) Dec. 15-16
- Marcos Davila (QB - Purdue) Dec. 15-16
- Gabriel Moore (DT - Mississippi St.) Dec. 18
- DJ Wesolak (EDGE - Oregon State) Dec. 19
- Nyziah Hunter (WR - Cal) Dec. 19-20
- Chris Murray (DL - Sam Houston State) Dec. 20-21
- Adrian Maddox (S - UAB) Dec. 20-21
- AJ Pena (EDGE - Rhode Island)

There's more than that I think, but right now these are the ones I know of for sure.

Rumors swirling about Kewan Lacy in the portal. Dana offered him out of HS, one time Husker commit before flipping to mizzou

Obviously this was incorrect.. Lacy to Ole Miss

As for Dante Dowell and the rest of the guys jumping ship, my thoughts are this, if there is no loyalty to the Huskers then Husker fans should have no loyalty to them. Welcome to the new era of D1 college sports.

Little nugget...

Transfer OT from Wake Forest - Keagan Trost is looking at Nebraska.

This could be an insight in where we feel like we stand with World.

Nebraska getting visits from the top two OTs in the portal is a good thing. LSU is the other team to watch here. I think Nebraska has a good shot with this one. Seems like World is likely to go to either A&M or Oregon at this point.
