Notre Dame, Texas, Indiana, Penn State, Boise State, and SMU have played a combined total of 65 games and not a win against a ranked opponent in the mix.

Boise beat UNLV who is currently ranked twice.

Yep. That’s been a sore spot since the first rating for a some of us. This year’s committee didn’t seem to place as much stock in SOS, wins over ranked teams, good/bad losses, etc as much as other committees. They seemed to be more influenced by how a team played regardless of the opponent quality.

I think this will be more of the norm if parity within conferences continues. Teams will suffer more losses and have a harder time staying ranked. JMO

What’s going to be interesting is if several of those teams get a win or two. And I’m going chalk this first round so I think three of those six you listed will get one of those wins.

Apparently they have locations in Phoenix but I have never seen or tried them
