The playoff bitching will never stop.

people whine about march madness' bubble all the time. it's the new normal.

i had a meltdown two-three years ago about Wake's bubble bursting. just reality.

I am ok with 12, but I would really like to see the 1st round bye eliminated

I’m pretty happy with the Final 4. We got 4 brands and both games should be competitive
And the team that wins it all will have won 4 games in a row without any byes or cupcakes to soften things in that stretch. They damn sure will have earned it imo.

Yeah, that math doesn't work. If you don't have byes you need to do 8 or 16. This year showed that the extra 4 wasn't necessary. They were terrible boring games with predictable outcomes.

Fine, add a few more teams. But its the age old post season conundrum. Too much time off

"Nobody will ever be satisfied with how college football crowns the Champion."

I'm fine with it.

Settled on the field.

Everything else is background noise.

Just goes to show seeding doesn't really matter.....

Upsets will happen.

Only based on the rankings. I think every team that has won was favored.

It used to be teams 5 thru 12 bitched about not being invited and stated their cases of why the should've been in. Now we have 12 teams and teams 1 thru 4 are sad, mostly because they all got beat.

Nobody will ever be satisfied with how college football crowns the Champion.

Also, I'm still laughing at OD because I haven't read Georgia, ASU or Boise fans writing novels about how their team got shafted. LOL @OregonDucks
If you ain't from Florida State, you don't have a bitch. An undefeated Florida State from a Major Conference was left out in favor of two team that lost a game. Other than that, all you have to do is win.

Just pointing out that maybe this is a better system. I would think OSU and ND fans would agree
I've been saying that since before the playoffs began but these are the current rules, which require a team to beat the team they are assigned to play in order to advance.

Greg Sankey is sounding like a total entitled bitch right now
Not surprising. But he's minor league in the entitled bitch department compared to former B1G commish Jim Delaney. The description for him would have included an additional word. Total, entitled, arrogant bitch.

That criticism aside, both are doing exactly what their constituents want. Total domination. And it is coming soon.

Jim Delaney was a visionary and mastermind.

He negotiated with ESPN, didn't like the deal and said, "Fine, we'll start our own network." Result? This past year or so the B1G now has deals that will pay each team in the conference $80-100M per year over the next several years, which eclipses every other conference by a lot.

The first day of the BTN, Delaney sent a bottle of champagne to ESPN executives. The $$$ have not stopped flowing since.

It's no coincidence that the other conferences eventually (although less successfully) copied the BTN model. Even the SEC with the backing of Disney $$$$ isn't close from an income perspective.

Not arguing any of that. He was still as described.
