Texas is using a version of the defense Michigan used -- essentially doubling Jeremiah Smith every play and forcing Ohio to beat them elsewhere.

By doing so - Ohio has to put together a long drive on shorter throws. Ohio keeps taking penalties making it so much tougher to face a defense like that.
