Clemson & Notre Dame announced 12 year scheduling agreement

Clemson was already on the 2027 & 2028 schedule.

As of now the "non" ACC games for 2029 are:

Alabama, Texas, Clemson, USF, Navy and USC (unless they pussy out)

Unless we drop USF, looks like Stanford is off the schedule.

I'd love to do a home and home with Nebraska. But your admin and coaches seems to be shying away from big OOC opponents.

Such a win for both programs.

Back in the day, Alabama and Penn State had a 10 year series from 1981-90 - which developed into a really excellent rivalry game. I wish they still played each year. So much better than a random home and home.

Good setup. First, as long as Clemson is in the ACC it counts toward our 5 game commitment. If Clemson bolts, the deal still holds.

This move makes me wonder how much longer USC will stay on the schedule too. There has been a lot of talk recently that USC wants to end the series especially if the big 10 goes to 9 game conference schedule. Every other year that’s an extra trip east for them.

Also, I've read different reports on whether or not that'll count towards one of our 5 games. We'll see how that shakes out.

There’s no reason why it wouldn’t count. I’d be irritated if we had to play 6 ACC teams.
 
But how does this affect Meatchicken and the Bulbous Nut-like Seed contingent?
