When I was growing up we watched the ABC Movie of the week every Sunday so I feel like we saw a bunch of James Bond movies, The Poseidon Adventure, and The Towering Inferno multiple times over the years. I don't think being a captive audience should count though if we had Netflix we wouldn't have watched many of those twice.

This is a big factor. I don't have kids but I think that people might be underestimating how often they rewatched the shit that they liked and had access to as kids. I think that I watched "Mr. Mom" and "The Bad News Bears: Breaking Training" so many times that no other movies could ever catch up (hell I had them recorded on the same VHS, I bet I can still find it). I still remember sitting in the backseat as a tiny little thing, hearing/seeing sirens go on behind my mom and saying "We goin' to 'The Joint' for sure!" just like Ahmad, she was trying so hard not to laugh when the cop came to her window :laugh: It probably even happened coming home from a baseball game.

I'm pretty sure I've never seen Christmas story start to finish but I've seen all the scenes a ton.
