I was actually in your area getting food from Piada and drove by a park on S. Hawkins. Those little urchins were playing like it was a regular day.
 
When it comes to playing ball in this heat I think it's worse sitting in it than actually playing. But I do feel bad for the kid who is the catcher

Yeah, it was hot as hell.

I'm actually a coach on that team, and if Slink Jr hadn't been playing down in Massillon, I'd have been there coaching the team.

I despise everything about Massillon's athletic programs, mainly football. So give an attaboy to Slink Jr!

Were they playing at that complex right by 21? There is no shade there
 
High of 93 today in downtown Canuckistan. It it 100 here yesterday. I don't know how you fuckers do it. High of 82 for tomorrow. A bit more civilized.

We've played this team a couple of times now, and the some of the players and parents seem to be pretty classless. I love it when we beat teams like that.

They were playing at a pretty nice park, but I can't remember what it's called. There were some trees that offered shade and when the breeze kicked up, it really wasn't to bad there. Of course, I was sitting in a chair in the shade, not playing. . .

Agreed. Massillon is notorious for doing some pretty unscrupulous things, especially with football. Their fans? I want to call them urban hillbillies

Miss the Yappi days when our Macsters would say they had 0 actual titles on the field until a couple years ago. Their others were just paper ones that weren't earned.

When I left the office yesterday, the thermometer in my truck was 106. Once I started driving it dropped, but the point is, it was frikken hot!

Outdoor flag football camp got moved indoors to the gym today.
