I mean, I’m posting on my time piece right now. Is it a boomer thing or fashion statement to wear a watch?

eh. they're pretty redundant, but, i like 'em. something awesome to me about a mechanical (not quartz) watch, with all the precision involved, and all the parts that come together to be able to track time. i don't really see them as a fashion statement as much as a cool gadget, but i'm sure some do.

I like wearing a watch. I like to be able to subtly look at the time without pulling out my phone and looking like a total jabroni.

I have about 4 or 5 watches I rotate between.

When I first switched to overalls, I carried around a pocket watch for a bit, but that didn’t last long. My phone was in the same pocket

I’ve always worn a watch and feel weird not having one. I switched to an Apple Watch a few years ago and love it. It tracks my fitness stuff but also I get alerts when I get emails that I can subtly check when I’m in a meeting and can’t pull out my phone.

Never been a watch wearer. I've kind of tried to, but I just revert back.

one of these days i'd like to get a vintage high-end pocket watch, something from the early 20th century, just to have as part of my collection

I never wear a watch. Just use my phone like anyone else under 70

I still prefer a watch. Have several mid-range watches I rotate. But yes, in reality they are nothing more that jewelry unless you are a smart watch wearer.

love the orange monster, seiko has a ton of cool ass dive watches
it was my first one, I thought I got it for like $100 on Amazon or something.

now it's discontinued and sells for $800 or something.

my uncle has Omegas and I keep telling him to leave him one in his will.
